Fatima Khamzayeva

Fatima Khamzayeva earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (2020–2024) and a Master’s degree in International Relations (2024–2026) from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and is currently pursuing doctoral studies. In 2022, she completed an Erasmus+ exchange semester at Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany. She has collaborated with UNESCO, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, CAY4WATER, and UNRCCA on projects concerning water policy, climate change, women’s rights, and the prevention of child trafficking. Her research interests include water diplomacy, water governance, climate and energy policy, and regional cooperation in Central Asia.
